Skanda, The Assailant

The daughter of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rayudu (Ajay Pushkar) was kidnapped by the son of Telangana CM Ranjith Reddy (Sharat Lohitashwa) from her wedding in Telangana. Meanwhile, in the Godavari district, Rudrakanti Bhaskar (Ram Pothineni) falls in love with Sreeleela (Sreeleela), the daughter of Telangana CM Ranjith Reddy. When Sreeleela suddenly disappears, Bhaskar is determined to find her. In his plan, CM Ranjith Reddy's daughter, Sreeleela, and the daughter of the Andhra CM are also kidnapped. Bhaskar kidnaps Sreeleela to get her into CM Ranjith Reddy's house in Rudrarajapura, Andhra Pradesh. Bhaskar makes a deal with CM Ranjith Reddy that he will release Sreeleela if CM Ranjith Reddy agrees to send the Telangana CM's daughter to the Andhra CM's family.

Why does Bhaskar want to trap CM Ranjith Reddy's daughter Sreeleela with love? Why did both CMs kidnap each other's daughters? What is the relationship between Manikantha Raju (Daggubati Raja), the son of CM Manikantha Raju of Andhra Pradesh, and Bhaskar's family? When they kidnap the CM's daughters, what did the CMs do? They asked the CMs to tell Bhaskar's family why they should recommend a marriage alliance. These are the questions that the movie 'Skanda' deals 

The opening act introduces Srikanth as Rudraganti Ramakrishna Raju, a businessman from Rudrarajupuram wrongly condemned to death. His daughter (Saiee Manjrekar) fights for her life, setting the stage for a hero to emerge and champion the triumph of good over evil.

Ram assumes the role of the hypermasculine savior, confronting caricatured portrayals of powerful chief ministers. While the thugs in the film also experience their fair share of slow-motion sequences, Ram takes it up a notch. At one point, a character likens his speed to that of a tiger, leading to a succession of 22 slow-motion shots before the next line of dialogue is spoken.

Ram Pothineni popularly known by his stage name Ram, is an Indian film actor who is known for his work in Telugu cinema. Ram is the nephew of noted film producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. Ram was born in Hyderabad, India, on May 15; he was brought up and finished his education in Chennai. He is the nephew of Telugu producer Sravanti Ravi Kishore.
